The first commercial laundry machine that I really liked the was the Frigidaire washing machines. I really like Frigidaire because they are one of the best Refrigerator manufacturers (my fridge is made by them) and I‘m really happy with it. All their equipment is with great even awesome design, but a bit pricey. The laundry machine that I looked at was 3.1 cu. ft. Coin Operated Commercial Front Load Washing Machine with the following goodies:

- Commercial front load washer with 3.1 cu. ft. capacity and tumble action wash for gentle, yet effective cleaning
-4 Automatic wash cycles and 2 wash / spin speed combinations
- Automatic dispenser for detergent, bleach and fabric softener
- Factory installed coin chute and coin box with lock (REMOVABLE)

This looked quite interesting and and pretty simple to operate (also a thing that I like - you don‘t have to be a racket scientist to be able to wash your laundry)....+|+

Actually you might be interested why I‘ve bold-ed the coin chute element as you know that I want this for my home not for commercial/public laundry needs. The thing is that I live in an apartment building with my family and relatives - actually its a big 4 story apartment building owned only by relatives. In one way this is good, but in another very bad thing. The part that sucks is that nobody has his own washing machine and currently they were abusing ours and that sucked because I go downstairs to wash my cloths and I find my uncle‘s pants inside and that sucks! That‘s why I‘ve decided to put a coin chute and make sure they pay in order to use the laundry machine. He he he .. Yep, you use it, you pay!

Actually this selfish reason of mine really made me look even further and try to find a good compatible dryer for that machine (the actual machine does not have dryer capabilities and it requires additional machine to do the drying). In one way that‘s a good thing because I can do my other laundry meanwhile which is not that bad.

The dryer that I found was really nice and quite better looking than the washer. It had the following features:

- 5.7 cu. ft. commercial front loading dryer with factory installed coin chute and coin box with lock
- 45 minute non adjustable drying time and three drying temperatures: Low, Medium, High
- Dryer operating status light (I thought that was a standard feature)
- Operating instructions printed on console for added convenience (yep they had me in mind when they paced the instructions on the outside)

Actually this dryer is quite interesting and I‘m really considering it, but the overall price comes a bit high for my budget and I‘ll have to check out few other options first before making my decision. The Frigidaire Washer costs about $900 and the Dryer about $600 in total $1400 for my laundry machines. I guess my "roommates" will eventually pay it off for few years, but still I‘ll check out few more options first.

The first laundry washer machine that I went to look at was in fact a commercial heavy duty coin operated laundry machine. I went to look at that machine since I‘m really found of commercial laundry machines since they are quite durable and heavy duty. My old machine was in commercial class and survived more than 30 years (actually it came with the house -- that‘s what my father tolled me) and now in 2007 its about time to get a new one. The thing is that I‘m not looking for some Sci-Fi High-Tech laundry machine because I‘m still quite happy with the 30 year old one as I don‘t really care about what it does except to wash my cloths really well, support few types of cloth materials - cotton, wool, plastic (for some T-Shirts with plastic emblems and etc), artificial materials (most of the cloths nowadays are made with those and they shrink and deform so badly if you accidentally put it on hot instead of warm program). So basically I don‘t have that much requirements.

I was about to forget. Yes I do need the dryer because that‘s the most important part after washing as I don‘t like to wait days for them to dry. Actually most of the time I wash my cloths when I run out of clean ones ( I guess most of you guys are like that if you don‘t have a women in the house - I live alone for now). That makes my demand for a good quality in the same time affordable dryer highly important for the human survival (my survival before all).....+|+

As I said before a commercial laundry machine is perfect for a single guy like me and washing up to 60 lb of really durty cloths won‘t be an issue.

The first place I went out to look for Commercial Laundry Machines was Home Depo. I guess that was the closes place where I can find such stuff. At Home Depo I found one was the Frigidaire front load Washing machine and Dryer.

I guess if you are visiting this website you are looking for a good laundry machine and I suppose you ended up reading this. In a way I'm in the same situation and I made this website with the sole person to act as a guide book/website to people looking for good home and commercial laundry washer machines.

I'm just like you looking our different websites trying to figure out which laundry machine is best for our home since our old one is more than 20 years old and definitely needs replacement. I'm one of those people that don't really like to go for public laundry machines as I don't really trust those in both quality and few other things that I really don't like to discuss.

Anyway here you can find all the laundry machines that I've looked at and what dealers/retailers offered me as good/cheap prices. Also I'll post few more things when time comes...+|+
--
